What is Pilates?
Pilates is a specialized form of exercise influenced by yoga, gymnastics, dance and other forms of movement. The focus of Pilates is core stabilization and strength, performing exercises with controlled breathing and a body-mind focus.
The exercises and movement sequences can be performed on a mat in one of our group classes or with specially designed equipment in our private Pilates Studio. It conditions your entire body, stretching and strengthening muscles uniformly, promoting balanced musculature, core control, flexibility and agility.
Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best. No matter what your age or condition, it will work for you.
